Chair Caining & Upholstery

The Luray Antique mall offers all types of chair caining and Upholstery to help keep your favorite piece of antique furniture looking their best. We also offer a compete line of chair caning and basket weaving materials.

PRESS IN CAINING: Your chair will have a small grove around the seat bottom. $35.00 for a average size chair bottom, chair backs are additional. Larger chairs will be quoted on an individual basis.

HAND CAINING: Your chair will have small holes around the seat bottom The caining pattern is woven by hand at .85 cents per hole.

SPLIT BOTTOM: Hand woven with a flat reed. Average chair bottom is $35.00 Larger chair bottoms and chair backs additional.

RUSH BOTTOM: A standard four section weave with using a synthetic rush. Average chair bottom is $85.00. Larger chair bottoms additional. Natural rush is available at an additional cost.

UPHOLSTERY: All upholstery projects are to be quoted on an individual basis. Please call the shop for further details.
